Governance Policies

Amistad Worldwide maintains the following governance policies to ensure organizational integrity and accountability:

Amistad Worldwide is governed by a four-member board of directors who provide strategic oversight and fiduciary responsibility. All four board members are independent. None receive compensation from the organization.

Amistad Worldwide respects the privacy of our donors. We do not sell, share, or trade donor personal information — including names, addresses, email addresses, or giving history — with any third party. Donor information is used solely for the purpose of processing contributions, providing tax receipts, and communicating about our programs and impact.
